You may need to look no further than your coffee mug to discover how your teeth became dull or yellow over time. Fortunately, our dentist provides take-home teeth whitening trays to help you maintain the look of your white smile from home. We also do professional teeth whitening right in our office to noticeably whiten your smile by several shades.
Veneers are wafer-thin porcelain shells our dentist is able to bond to the fronts of teeth that show when you smile and talk. These teeth covers are able to hide chips, cracks, and discoloration. We are also able to use dental veneers to correct irregularly-shaped teeth. Your porcelain veneers will be placed in two appointments to our office, unless we use CEREC.
During your first appointment, we’ll remove a small amount of enamel from the fronts of your receiving teeth. Next, we’ll take dental impressions to send to the lab where your veneers will be made. To protect your teeth in the meantime, we’ll place temporary teeth covers. When you return for your second appointment, your dentist may make slight adjustments to the color and fit of your veneers so they look natural. If you would prefer gettingin one appointment, ask our dentist if you’re a candidate for CEREC.
Our dentist uses teeth bonding to repair slight damage to teeth in the smile zone. You may be a candidate for dental bonding if you have front teeth that are chipped, gapped, unevenly spaced, or irregularly shaped.
is a noninvasive procedure because we don’t have to remove enamel. Instead, we clean and roughen the surface of your tooth before applying a tooth-colored resin that matches the rest of your smile. Patients can get dental bonding done in one appointment.
Inlays & Onlays
A dental inlay or onlay is a good compromise between a filling and crown. Our dentist wants to help you preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible, which is why we provide inlays and onlays to patients. Unlike fillings that are applied directly to your teeth, your dentist will need to create a restoration that matches the natural color and shape of the tooth. This tooth restoration is called a dental inlay or onlay.
