Dr. Farkash is originally from Los Angeles, California and graduated in 2009 from University of California Davis with a Bachelors in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. He completed his dental training at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating in the top 20% of his class, and received two awards for his clinical performance: The Comprehensive Care Award, given to only four students yearly, and the Caulk/Dentsply Prosthodontics Award, given to only a single student each year.
Upon graduation, Dr. Farkash was one of 3% of dentists selected to participate in a year long Advanced Education in General Dentistry with the South Veterans Health Care System in San Antonio, Texas. During this program Dr. Farkash worked closely with specialists and national lecturers to receive unique training in surgical procedures and advanced root canal treatments, in addition to advanced restorative, orthodontic, and prosthodontic procedures.
Additionally, Dr. Farkash participates with local dentists in a Spear Study Club to ensure continued progression in his dental education, and his current dental goal is to obtain his Fellowship ranking in the Academy of General Dentistry. Our office is very excited about the mix of services that Dr. Farkash will be adding to our practice for both our patients and specialists in the community.
Dr. Farkash has been described by his mentors as “a kind, caring, empathetic and highly skilled clinician. He ALWAYS has the most positive spirit, great enthusiasm, is extremely emphatic and highly ethical.”
